We depart on our overnight, transatlantic flight to Munich, Germany. Meal and snacks are served on board.
Upon arrival, we are greeted by our Professional Tour Manager and are escorted to our private motor coach for transfer to Oberammergau. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel where we will enjoy our welcome dinner together.
This morning, after breakfast, we embark on a tour of Ettal Monastery. Before attending the first part of the Passion Play we enjoy lunch together. During the break in Passion Play we enjoy a three (3) course dinner. After dinner, we enjoy the second part of Passion Play.
Following breakfast at the hotel, we check-out and board our motor coach for a transfer to Neuschwanstein Castle for a tour. After the tour, we have lunch on our own before transferring to Munich, the capitol of Bavaria. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and dinner is be on our own arrangements this evening.
After breakfast this morning, we enjoy a guided tour of Munich, highlighting Marienplatz, the twin towers of Frauenkirche and town hall among many other famous sites. We enjoy lunch on our own before proceeding to Residenz Palace for a tour. Tonight we will enjoy dinner on our own and independent exploration.
We have breakfast at the hotel before our excursion to Regensburg, one of Bavaria’s most important historical sites. Upon arrival, we enjoy a city tour and discover major landmarks and monuments, including St. Peters Cathedral for a guided tour before having lunch on our own. On the return to Munich, we stop for an exciting tour through Weltenburg Abbey. We have dinner and the remainder of the evening on our own.
After breakfast, we check-out of our hotel and transfer to Heidelberg, making an en route stop to visit Dachau Concentration Camp for a guided tour. We continue to Heidelberg, stopping in the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber for lunch before we enjoy a guided tour of the city. Following the tour, we board our motor coach and transfer to Heidelberg for hotel check in. This evening we enjoy dinner together at the hotel.
This morning we have breakfast at our hotel before enjoying a guided tour of the medieval town of Heidelberg. Our tour include a visit to the Renaissance Heidelberg Castle where we can view the world’s largest wine barrel. This afternoon we have lunch on our own and have time to explore the town at our own leisure. Tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant before transferring back to the hotel.
We have our final breakfast at the hotel before checking out and boarding the motor coach to transfer to Frankfurt International Airport where we board our homebound flight.
