This presentation will focus on the life of James Archibald Campbell, the founder of the University. It will examine the fire that destroyed his life’s work, the Buies Creek Academy, in the early morning hours of December 21, 1900. Presented by: Dr. Glenn Jonas; Associate Dean, College of Arts and Sciences |
3:00 – 5:00 pm | Campus Tours | Take a guided tour of campus to rediscover familiar spots and explore exciting new additions to the campus. |
4:30 – 6:00 pm | Welcome Reception for Alumni & Seniors | Meet our graduating seniors, student and Alumni volunteers, and reconnect with fellow alumni over light refreshments. |

9:30 – 10:30 am | Golden Club Induction Ceremony & Breakfast | Members of the Class of 1975 will be inducted into our Golden Club, commemorating 50 years as Campbell alum. All Golden Club members are invited to celebrate alongside President Creed. |
9:30 – 10:30 am | Class Reunions | 5, 10, 25, and 40-year classes gather to reminisce and socialize. Mementos (submitted by alumni prior to the event) will be on display. Make plans to attend to reconnect with old friends, share your stories, and create new memories as we honor your journey and contributions to our community. |
10:45 – 11:30 am | Forever Campbell: Celebrating Our Legacy, Embracing Our Future | Attend this special address from Dr. Creed honoring Campbell’s rich legacy and providing a look toward the bright future that lies ahead. |
11:30 – 1:30 pm | Family Fun Lunch on the Lawn | Alumni and their families are invited to the Cornelia Campbell Alumni House to enjoy lunch and games on the lawn. |
1:00 – 2:00 pm | Game On! Athletics & Alumni Impact | Special presentation from Campbell Athletics |
1:00 – 3:00 pm | Crafts in the Creek | Fun for adults and kids alike, join us for this fun craft activity where you can create your own friendship bracelet, complete with a special camel charm! |

Watch a live stream of the NASA Rover competition as we put our rovers to the test, plus get an up-close look at our cutting-edge designs.
