As graduates leave our campus ready to fulfill a purposeful life with meaningful service we expect they will live up to the values taught throughout their Campbell experience. Campbell alumni are 54,000 strong, making an impact around the world. We are proud of their accomplishments and seek to recognize their efforts of serving others, their communities, and their alma mater.
Award Recognition Process
- Nominations can be submitted throughout the year by anyone. Self-nominations are accepted.
- The Alumni Board of Directors Recognition Committee will review all nominations, will select nominees based on nominations, and will present to the full board for approval.
- The full Alumni Board of Directors votes on nominees during its summer meeting.
- Recipients will be honored during various on-campus events throughout the year.
Award Description
Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna
The Distinguished Alumni Award is bestowed upon a Campbell alumnus or alumna that has distinguished themselves in their personal and professional career and their support of Campbell University. We recognize these individuals during our annual Homecoming celebration. Please give us as much information as possible in your recommendation and attach the nominee’s resume. If you would like to nominate more than one individual, please complete a separate form. 1-3 recipients are recognized annually. Nominations for the 2023 entries is open until April 9, 2023.
